ARTS EDUCATION
Empowering Students to Find Their Voice Through
Curriculum Based Dance and Drama Programs
Our curriculum-based workshops—offered in both French and English—invite students to explore movement, storytelling, and performance as powerful tools for self-expression. Rooted in the belief that every student deserves to be seen and heard, our programs help young people discover their voices, claim space with confidence, and connect with others through creativity and collaboration.
We provide one-time workshops and full programs for Grades K–12, adaptable to classrooms, gyms, libraries, or any available school space,
Led by some of Canada’s most accomplished performing artists, our teaching team includes dancers, singers, actors, directors, choreographers, and producers who bring professional expertise and a passion for inclusive arts education to every session. All teaching artists hold a current Vulnerable Sector Screening to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

The Travelling Stage proudly operates a head office and two fully inclusive performing arts studios in Whitby and Bowmanville, supported by dedicated teaching teams across Canada who bring arts education to communities from coast to coast.
We partner with more than 100 school boards and national organizations — including Girl Guides of Canada, the YMCA, BGC, Jays Care Foundation, and Mirvish Productions — to enrich learning and build self-confidence through dance, drama, and music education.
At The Travelling Stage, we believe arts education is about more than training future performers. It’s about helping young people find their voice. Through the arts, students learn to be expressive, adaptable, and curious, developing the confidence to see possibilities instead of obstacles and to move with life as it unfolds.
Each of our workshops is thoughtfully designed to enhance and support the school curriculum, reaching more than five million students annually across Canada.
